Junior by bObsweep Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Review
There are three cleaning modes for bObsweep junior. The 'go' mode allows the vacuum to clean large areas. The 'waffle' mode is similar to spot cleaning. It is perfect when you only want to clean a particular area or a spot the robot missed during the 'go' mode. The last mode is 'wall track.' This mode cleans the perimeters of the room by following the walls. There is a sensor in the vacuum that allows the robot to perform this task efficiently.
A five-wall sensor allows the vacuum to stay close to the wall when performing the 'wall track' mode of cleaning. When the vacuum reaches a high threshold or stairs, the four-edge sensor is activated to stop it from falling off. This edge sensor, as the name suggests, helps the robot avoid edges.
The bObsweep Junior has a remote control that can drive the robot forward, backward, left, or right. Through its 12-touch buttons, you can choose the mode you want to clean in, its pace, pause cleaning and then resume. A mute button stops the vacuum from beeping while it's on standby. After cleaning, you can send the vacuum to recharge via the remote control.
Junior by bObsweep can perform a maintenance checkup through a checkup button. Hold the button down, then flip the power switch on to activate this function. The robot will tell you if there is anything wrong with words rather than codes. Through this self-examination, you can tell if the battery or brush needs replacing, if any of the sensors need cleaning, or if there's something trapped underneath the vacuum.
The noise level on this vacuum is 60 barely loud decibels.

bObsweep Standard Robot Vacuum and Mop Review
The bOb standard is the first in line, available in both red and champagne colors. This robotic vacuum comes in three cleaning modes. 'Spiral' mode (, 'wall track' (this mode lets the robot clean along the wall of the room), and 'waffle' mode (this can also be regarded as spot cleaning. It allows you to clean small areas of dirt for some minutes before automatically stopping). Its 1400 pa suction power sucks in any speck of dirt and its UV-C function disrupts bacteria, microorganisms, viruses, etc, from multiplying.
The bOb standard is not an automatic mop. It doesn't have a built-in tank nor does it. It comes with a reusable mop attachment that clips under the vacuum. There's a plastic attachment piece that has Velcro on the other side. The Velcro part should face up so you can place the mop attachment on it. You will need to wet the mop with a cleaning solution before you place it on the Velcro.
There is a LED screen where you can schedule cleaning. It doesn't come with bObsweep virtual blOck barriers but you can buy them yourself since they are compatible with the bOb standard vacuum. The block barriers stop the vacuum from stepping out of the areas you want to clean.
After cleaning or when the battery is low, the vacuum docks and goes back to the charging station.
It is controlled by a remote and through it, you can:
- Turn on/off the vacuum
- Drive the vacuum in whatever direction you wish
- Activate different cleaning modes
- Use the UV cleaning function
- Send the robot to the charging station
- Adjust the pace at which the vacuum cleans

bObsweep PetHair Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop Review
It is also controlled by an external remote. With this remote control, you can drive the robot to specific areas you want to clean, you can also make a schedule for how long you want the vacuum to run. It has an auto adjust feature that lets it move from one type of floor to another.
It has an LCD that enables you to schedule a clean, change cleaning modes, check the unit's system for maintenance, etc.
This vacuum will collect the smallest size particles and keep them trapped due to its HEPA filtration. It keeps the home free from allergen and if you have pets, you will never have to worry about dander, pet hair or litter, mites, dust, etc. There are two washable microfibers cleaning tabs. The dustbin is big enough to go a whole cleaning session without being full so you don't have to bother about emptying the bin frequently as you clean. BOb pet hair has a mop that functions just as the standard model does.
It is powered by a 2200mAh lithium-ion battery. It takes about four hours to charge and runs for up to 40 minutes. This is not a long runtime compared to how much time it takes to charge fully. When the battery is at 15%, the robot goes to the charging station to recharge. Once it is fully charged, it will resume the cleaning cycle.
Designs and Feature
- It comes in red and champagne color
- There is a LED display where you can schedule your cleaning
- Remote control
- HEPA filtration
- 1000 mL dustbin
- UV-C light to desterilize bacterias and viruses
Reasons to Buy
- HEPA filtration
- It is cordless
- It resumes cleaning after charging
- You can schedule cleaning
Reasons Not to Buy
- It lacks some kind of infrared containment that would stop it from cleaning areas you don't want cleaning
- The battery doesn't last very long
bObsweep PetHair Plus Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
The bOb PetHair plus is meant to be an improvement on the PetHair model but a lot of issues that affected the model were still not worked on. For example, the vacuum doesn't have an external camera to see the area it's cleaning. The robot misses a lot of spots and if it needs to recharge during a cleaning session, it wouldn't go back to where it stopped in cleaning. You have to do that manually. Also, just like the other reviewed models, this robottends to get stuck.
Another issue is the mop. It is the same as other bObsweep models, you need to soak the mop attachment in a water solution before attaching it back to the robot. It's great if you have to clean a small area but it isn't very efficient in 'mopping' since it doesn't suck in water.
One very different thing between this model and the rest is that it can shoot out virtual barriers perpendicularly which will allow the robot to have access to only the area you want it to clean. The size of the bin is big but it doesn't tell you when it's full so keep it in mind.
This model has similar features and designs as the PetHair, only that this comes in the color blue or dark charcoal.
