Multi-surface cleaning feature
- Hard floors: According to the lab tests performed by us, Samsung Jet 90 Complete was pretty perfect in cleaning all kinds of debris. However, in case of large debris particles like cereal, you need to increase its suction power to the maximum to avoid any clogging of the unit.
- Carpet-Low pile: Same was the case with low pile carpet as well. It pretty much cleaned all the debris that came its way. However, we did notice that when we turned the vacuum off, it did spit out small percentage of the fine debris it sucked. In our case, it was sugar. So, in such cases, you need to vacuum again to collect the remains.
- Carpet-High pile: Again, performance wise Jet 90 did similar to as it did on the low pile carpet. However, it struggles a bit while cleaning kitty litter and sprinkled sugar. Rice and cereal were sucked 100%.
Run-time
Run-time one of the most important features of a vacuum cleaner and any consumer would like to know how long would the unit last before buying. And fortunately, Jet 90 excels at it. On a normal mode, it can clean up to 60 minutes non-stop, while in turbo mode it can last as long as 43 minutes, which is pretty cool for a vacuum cleaner in this product category.
Design
As mentioned earlier, Samsung Jet 90 Complete is the recipient of the best design award. Apart from its looks, the unit is designed to work as a stick vacuum as well as a portable one. As far as suction is considered, Jet 90 sports three modes, low, medium and maximum suction. When in maximum mode, the vacuum sucks with 200 AW power, which is quite strong for its compact size.
Dustbin
Unfortunately, Jet 90 isn’t equipped with the best of the dustbins that many vacuum cleaners in its price range posses. The process of cleaning it is quite cumbersome, to say the least. You need to take it out of the unit, remove the top by twisting it, and then empty the tube in into the trash can.
Build
Jet 90, though looks like a gentle and sophisticated machine, has a hard build. You can feel the quality of the material used to build it when you touch it. Every piece is of high quality and justifies its price tag.
Power
Unlike traditional 2-in-1 vacuum cleaners that come with a trigger style power on and off, Jet 90 comes with a button type on and off. So, there is no need for you to keep pulling the trigger for the entirety of a cleaning cycle, instead you can switch on the power while cleaning and off it when done.
