Shark Navigator DLX Upright Vacuum (NV70): Should I buy it or not?
Why do we buy a vacuum cleaner? Do we buy it so we can brag? Do we but it to serve as a decoration? No, we do not buy a vacuum cleaner because of these reasons, right? Perhaps, it is part of the reason but at the end of the day, it is not the defining consideration. We buy a vacuum cleaner strictly for cleaning purposes - to clean the floor or get rid of the dust, molds, pet hairs, and other allergens or specks lingering on the couch, in the carpet, in the shop, in the car, and etc. We do not need the fanciest one, or the most expensive one. We don’t need the one with the most features. What we need is a vacuum cleaner that can do the job while having a price that is not too expensive but not too cheap either that it no longer has any defining characteristic. And this is the very principle behind one of Shark’s most popular vacuum cleaners.
SharkNinja which is also known as “Shark” is one of the leading manufacturers when it comes to vacuum cleaners. Their innovations and ability to understand their customers are impeccable and this is one of the reasons why they continuously stay as one of the big names in the market. Through the years, Shark released various product line-ups that people highly followed, but perhaps, one of the most loved line-ups they ever launched is the “Shark Navigator Deluxe” Where Shark Navigator DLX Upright Vacuum NV70 belongs – a cost-effective and cost-efficient vacuum cleaner which has the right balance of price and features.

Review of Shark Navigator DLX Upright Vacuum NV70
Here are some of the user reviews for Shark DLX NV70.
- “First this machine IS NOT self-propelled!!! But it is light and steerable! Holds a gallon of dirt before needs emptying and is not messy to empty!! And like the summary heading says will suck anything out of your carpet! We have several cats and a dog and no problems at all!! This is a best buy at twice the price!!”
- I bought this vacuum to replace an old Eureka that I picked up at Walmart years ago. Needless to say, this vacuum outperforms. Assembling this vacuum was a breeze, with there only being a few pieces to connect out of the box. Once I had it assembled, I noticed that it is a bit heavy once the handle is at an angle. Because of it being a bit heavyset, it can tend to lean to either side when in use. I don't mind this much since I am usually using the vacuum quickly. Once I have to concentrate in a certain area, the vacuum can lean ever so often. Another thing to note is the sound: this vacuum is not loud enough to drown out my iPad when playing a video. I appreciate that the most because of the loudness of the old Bissell. I think this is a great vacuum, but I would prefer something lighter if I were to buy again.”
- “I am very impressed with the performance of the Shark NV70 Navigator Professional. It does a great job of retrieving all the cat hair, I could outfit another cat with a coat based on all the hair. It is very easy to empty the container and put back in place. The instructions were not the greatest for assembling the unit, very hard to read such small print. No worries though, I went to YouTube and found a video that not only helped me with assembly but also a demo of using the unit.”
