Miele C1 Vacuum: The Classic that will give you a futuristic performance.

Entry-level things are frequently frowned upon, there is just the connotation that they are not good. But that is not true because in some cases, entry levels are some of the most cost-effective items that you could have. And the same thing goes for vacuum cleaners. It is not always the most expensive which has the best cost-effectiveness characteristic, sometimes the entry levels beat them in this aspect as they have almost identical performance and quality.

One of the best entry-level vacuum cleaners that you could have been the Miele C1 Vacuum. Do you want to know why? Read more to know.

What is a Miele C1 Vacuum

When you hear the name Miele, the first thing that probably comes into your mind is vacuum cleaners. Well, your mind is not wrong as this brand is really popular as a manufacturer of quality and cost-effective vacuum cleaners. And true to this reputation, they have yet another quality vacuum cleaner in the form and name of Miele C1 Vacuum.

Miele C1 Vacuum is the entry-level bagged canister in Miele’s line of bagged canisters. Given this entry-level status, this vacuum cleaner is priced lower than the others. But of course, this slightly lower price comes at the expense of some features. Miele C1 Vacuum does not have the most advanced features like those found in other Miele Vacuum models such as Miele Complete C3. However, you do not need to have these advanced features to have a great clean. What you really need to have been a strong suction power and the Miele C1 vacuum has that. Despite its pure suction floorhead, Miele C1 Vacuum has solid suction power. And this suction power proved to be adequate in dealing with messes and debris on a variety of surfaces.

Design

In terms of design, people should not expect too much. As it is an entry-level, the design of the Miele C1 Vacuum is not very exceptional but not bad either, it’s safe to say that it is average. Despite this “average” rating, one could say that you really paid for more than your money’s worth. Why? Because despite the plastic built, this one is actually very sturdy and solid. The sturdiness is not the same as Miele Complete C3 but this vacuum cleaner could still go toe to toe with it. Though the overall appearance is plastic, it actually has external parts made of metal like its telescopic wand which is made of stainless steel the bottom of the vacuum head which is made of aluminum. On the other hand, its wheels are convenient. It is not made entirely of rubber but a rubber-like material that let it move or “glide” on most surfaces. On a side note, the only issue with the Miele C1 Vacuum is that it does not have a handle for its wand. Miele could have added this part as it is really convenient for users.

Features

  1. Practical locking system.Be it the telescopic wand, the floorhead, or the handle lock, everything is snug fit. Miele C1 Vacuum is equipped with a locking system that will help you avoid loose parts.
  2. Practical design.Though the overall appearance and design of the Miele C1 Vacuum are not that exceptional, it is still very convenient. The floorhead and suction tube are ideally located in the rear which makes handling smoother.
  3. A wide array of accessories. This one comes with a range of accessories that will make cleaning faster, easier, and less stressful. It has an upholstery tool, a crevice tool, and a dusting brush.
  4. 3-tiered filtration.Your stressful cleaning days are over as the 3-tiered filtration of Miele c1 Vacuum ensures a cleaner home and air. This 3-tiered filtration system includes a motor protection filter, an AirClean exhaust filter, and a Miele filter bag.
  5. Suction settings.Suction power should be different for different surfaces. After all, some might need more or sometimes less. And Miele C1 vacuum took this into consideration as it has 6 suction power settings that are fit, appropriate, and specific to the surface you are cleaning.

Functions

Miele C1 Vacuum is strictly a vacuum, hence, it can only vacuum. Its lightweight and strong suction specification make it a great vacuum cleaner for every surface kind. But the strongest suit of this is its performance in dealing with low pile carpets, area rugs, and hard floors.

  1. Bare floors.Bare floors are one of the strongest suits of Miele C1 Vacuum. Its strong suction which it is very proud of delivers. It perfectly deals with debris and pet hairs though there are times when hairs get tangled in the rush or small debris gets stuck in the crevices of the brush head.
  2. Carpets. Be it low-pile or high-pile, Miele C1 has a consistent performance. It was able to suck embedded hairs and small debris through it struggled on the latter. The only concern on this part is that it has a small dirt bag which makes it less ideal if you will be dealing with a large cleaning area.
  3. Stairs. This is one of the best things about Miele C1 Vacuum, it has a great performance on stairs. Since it is lightweight, carrying it on stairs is not that taxing, Moreover, its compact characteristic makes it easy to position in the stairsteps.
  4. Cars. Miele C1 Vacuum can also be used to clean cars. The performance of it is good though it struggled a little bit in reaching parts as its hose is not that long. But this was properly compensated by the tools that came with it.
